REVOCATION OF
THE DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE
NO. 463/MPP/KEP/10/1998
ON
LOG EXPORT PROVISIONS

THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE,

Considering:

• a. that following the issuance of the Joint Decree of the Minister of Forestry and the Minister of Industry and Trade No 1132/KPTS-II/2001 and No. 292/MPP/Kep/10/2001 on the discontinuation of export of logs/chip materials, it is necessary to revoke the Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 463/MPP/Kep/10/1998 on log export provisions;
• b. that in relation thereto, it is necessary to issue a decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade;

In view of:

• 1. Presidential Decree No. 260/1967 on the affirmation of tasks and responsibility of the Minister of Industry and Trade in the international trade sector;
• 2. Presidential Decree No. 177/2000 on the organizational structures and tasks of ministries as already amended several times the latest by Presidential Decree No. 58/2001;
• 3. Presidential Decree No. 228/M/2001 on the establishment of the Mutual Cooperation (Gotong Royong) Cabinet;
• 4. Presidential Decree No. 102/2001 on the status, tasks, functions, authority, organizational structures and working arrangements of ministries;
• 5. Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 558/MPP/Kep/12/1998 on general provision in the export sector;
• 6. Joint Decree of the Minister of Forestry and the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 1132/KPTS-II/2001 and No. 292/MPP/Kep/10/2001 on the discontinuation of export of logs/chip materials;

DECIDES:

To stipulate :

REVOCATION OF THE DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE NO. 463/MPP/KEP/10/1998 ON LOG EXPORT PROVISIONS

Article 1

To revoke the Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 463/MPP/Kep/10/1998 on log export provisions.

Article 2

This decree shall come into force as from the date of stipulation.

For public cognizance, this decree shall be published by placing it in State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia.
